The mission of the Boy Scouts of America is to prepare young people to make ethical and moral choices over their
lifetimes by instilling in them the values of the Scout Oath and Law. Troop 999 promotes this mission
through a fun and challenging program which provides each boy the opportunity to:
- Learn life and recreational skills
- Gain self reliance and esteem
- Develop leadership and team work skills
- Create a sense of pride through community service
- Build strong character values
All of which support the Aims of Scouting Which Are To:
Build Character, Foster Citizenship and Develop Fitness.
